Renata is the driving force behind Proper Proofreading and the creator of her signature Proper Proofreading Protocol™, a white-glove system designed specifically for busy CPA firms, audit teams, and financial professionals.
Her proprietary process goes far beyond basic proofreading. Each document undergoes a meticulous, multi-layer review for grammar, spelling, clarity, punctuation, formatting consistency, GAAP-aligned terminology, cross-reference accuracy, and firm-standard structure. Renata examines each page with trained CPA judgment, identifying not only obvious typos but subtle inconsistencies, misalignments, and editorial drift that can slow review time or undermine quality. The result is a polished, consistent, and client-ready deliverable that reviewers, such as Directors and Partners, can trust immediately.
Renata brings more than a decade of experience as a licensed Certified Public Accountant, supporting corporate accounting, financial reporting, and audit coordination teams. With extensive experience in both public and corporate accounting, as well as expertise in writing, grammar, and style, she offers a rare blend of technical accounting precision and editorial excellence.
Her background includes:

Outside of her professional work, Renata is a devoted single parent who loves spending quality time with her daughter.
